Curriculum Information

Sydney Distance Education High School

Students in Years 9 to 12 access their core subjects through Sydney Distance Education High School (SDEHS). This is done either through paper packs or online learning with computers provided by Naremburn. Teachers and SLSO’s support the student in learning from these resources.

The enrolment process is done through Naremburn School.

Students in Years 7 and 8 have their subjects delivered from within the school.

There is a minimum compulsory fee of $85 to be paid on enrolment day for all students studying through SDEHS as well as a passport size photo.

There is also a fee of $100 per year subject fee, paid to Naremburn School.

Curriculum offered by Naremburn School 

Naremburn School offers traditional face-to-face delivery of several subjects. These include:

·         Art

·         Personal development, health and physical education, (PDHPE)

·         Wood Work and Design Technology

·         Food Technology

·         Sport

In addition to these, we also provide programs on social skills, healthy eating and remedial reading program. We offer continuous support in organising work experience and pathways to TAFE courses throughout the year. 

For years 7 and 8, we offer Mathematics, English, Science, History, Geography and PDHPE as in school programs.

Cross curriculum content enriches and supports the learning areas and adds depth to student learning. In NSW students study a range of learning across the curriculum content.
