Referral process
Referrals to Naremburn School are prepared by the learning support team at the home school. The referrals are then presented to the placement panel which meet Weeks 4 and 8 each term.
Referrals are assessed with all relevant data, existing interventions, and appropriateness of placement, considered.
Students and parents visit the school to see the programs offered, and to assess if it is a setting where the student might make positive changes. Students and caregivers will then be notified of the panel’s decision.
