About us

Naremburn School is a School for Specific Purpose (SSP) that provides individualised education to support each student’s academic, vocational, behavioural, and emotional needs. We offer a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every student is recognised, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our goal is to educate students in a calm, supportive environment that values each individual and their educational aspirations. Naremburn School is a place where students, staff, and families feel safe, supported, challenged, and nurtured.

The educative model is the cornerstone of our program. We view education as a right—accompanied by the responsibility to attend regularly, behave appropriately, and make choices that reflect positively on oneself, the school, family, and the wider community.

We work closely with families, carers, and support staff to develop personalised learning and wellbeing plans so that each student can learn in the way that suits them best. The school also collaborates with government and non-government agencies to support families experiencing challenges. Our preferred model of case management involves the school, student, external services, and families working together to help students develop the skills needed for a successful transition into adulthood.
